Beef Tenderloin

  • Center-cut beef tenderloin

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil

  1. Set your Yedi Houseware Sous Vide to 130 degrees (F) and preheat the bath.

  2. Season the tenderloin with salt and pepper and place in a vacuum bag. Seal the bag.

  3. Immerse the bag in the bath.

  4. Cook for approximately 1 hour. Remove the bag from the bath and remove the tenderloin from the bag.

  5. Pat the meat dry with a paper towel and then season again with salt and pepper.

  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet, and then sear the tenderloin on all sides to brown. Allow the meat to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
