“The 5 Cheese” Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

·      4 ounces of Brie cheese

·  1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

·  1/2 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese

·  1/2 cup of shredded Gruyere cheese

·  6 tablespoons butter

·  8 slices of sourdough bread

·  3 tablespoons of mayonnaise

·  3 tablespoons of finely shredded Parmesan cheese

·  1/8 teaspoon of onion powder

·  2 medium ripe avocado, peeled and sliced

DIRECTIONS

1. Spread 3 tablespoons butter on 1 side of each slice of bread.

2. Set Both Grills of your Yedi Grill to 350F preheat and set the time to 10 minutes.

3. Place bread, butter side down on the bottom flat plate of your Yedi Grill, 2-3 minutes.

4. In a small bowl, combine Cheddar, Monterey Jack and Gruyere.

5. In another bowl, mix together remaining 3 tablespoons butter, mayonnaise, Manchego cheese and onion powder.

6. To assemble sandwiches, top toasted side of 4 bread slices with sliced Brie; add avocado slices.

7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese mixture evenly over avocado slices. Top with remaining bread slices, toasted side facing inward. Spread the butter-mayonnaise mixture on the outsides of each sandwich.

8. Place on the same plate and close the top grill until golden brown and cheese is melted, around 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
