Smashed Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

·      1 Tbsp Parsley leaves

·      2 Lbs, Yukon Gold Potatoes

·      3 Tbsp of butter

·      Black Pepper

·      1/4 Tsp of minced garlic

·      1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese

·    Sea Salt

·      2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat both of your Yedi Grill flat plates to 350F and set the cook time to 1 and a half minutes.

2. Evenly distribute the cooled potatoes on a metal sheet tray, drizzle with olive oil, and use a potato masher or small metal bowl to gently smash each potato to a height of about ¼ to ½ inch (thinner potatoes will be crispier).

3. Mix together the butter and garlic. Brush the mixture over each potato, then season with salt and pepper.

4. Sprinkle both sides of the potatoes with Parmesan

5. Cover both sides of your Yedi Grill with vegetable oil, and then add flattened potatoes.

6. Close the Yedi Grill and cook for 1 and a half minutes.

7. Transfer to a pan, sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
