Grilled Pizza


  • Olive oil, extra virgin (1 tablespoon)

  • Mozzarella, sliced/shredded (1/2 cup)

  • Pizza dough, prepared (1 pound)

  • Pizza sauce (1/2 cup)

  • Kosher salt (1/4 teaspoon)


  1. Fit the grill plates into the Yedi Houseware Grill and set temperature to MAX to preheat.

  2. Meanwhile, work on the dough by rolling out to a 10-inch wide rectangle. Brush olive oil on both sides of the dough and then place on the preheated Yedi Houseware Grill lower plate. After closing the upper plate, cook the pizza for about five minutes and check occasionally to avoid burning it.

  3. Turn the lower plate’s temperature in between the Min and Max markings while keeping the upper plate’s temperature at the Max setting.. Open the Grill and spread the sauce on top of the dough. Add the cheese and salt before closing the upper plate. Allow the pizza to cook for about five to ten minutes or until the cheese fully melts.

  4. Transfer the grilled pizza on to a platter. Let sit for two minutes and then slice away.
